Along with the URL Shortener service, Switchy enables the creation of messenger links directly from its interface.

1. On the dashboard, click on "Create a new link"

2. Click on the triangle next to "Link". It will open a dropdown list where you can choose the messenger link you want to create

Here are the messaging channel supported:

  • Email

This link will directly redirect the one who clicks to an email app with a pre-populated email to a chosen email address, with a predefined subject and message.

  • WhatsApp

This link will directly redirect the one who clicks to WhatsApp (if it's downloaded on the device) with a pre-populated message to a chosen phone number.

  • Messenger

This link will directly redirect the one who clicks to Facebook Messenger, on a discussion with a chosen user or page (based on an m.me link).

  • Call

This link will directly redirect the one who clicks to a phone app, with a pre-populated phone number of your choice.

  • SMS

This link will directly redirect the one who clicks to an SMS app, with a pre-populated phone number and message of your choice.

  • Telegram

This link will directly redirect the one who clicks to the Telegram app (if it's downloaded on the device), on a discussion with a chosen user (based on a Telegram username).

  • Skype

This link will directly redirect the one who clicks to the Skype app (if it's downloaded on the device), on a discussion with a chosen user (based on a Skype username).

  • WeChat

This link will directly redirect the one who clicks to the WeChat app (if it's downloaded on the device), on a discussion with a chosen user (based on a WeChat ID).

  • Line

This link will directly redirect the one who clicks to the Line app (if it's downloaded on the device), on a discussion with a chosen user (based on a Line ID).

  • Viber

This link will directly redirect the one who clicks to the Viber app (if it's downloaded on the device), on a discussion with a chosen user (based on a Viber ID) with a pre-populated message.

3. When you have selected the messenger link that you like and filled the required fields, you can custom your links as usual (add retargeting pixels, add UTM tags, custom the link preview...)

4. When you are done, click on "Get my new link"
