Thanks to Switchy integration with Pabbly. You can automatically update a link when an trigger is activated.

You can for example set up an automatic update of Switchy link when you post on Wordpress or when you add a new row to a Google Sheet.

Let's see how to add Switchy in your Pabbly workflows, and how to activate the different options on your links.

🚧 Before you start, you'll need to set up an action or event that will trigger the update of a Switchy link.

A. Choose App

Type "Switchy" in the search bar and select the Switchy App.

B. Action Event

Select the option "Update link" in the drop-down list.

C. Connect

1. Click on the "Connect" button.

2. Select either the option " Add New Connection" or "Select Existing Connection"

3. If you selected " Add New Connection", input your Switchy API Key in the dedicated field and click on "Save"

D. Add Link Options

The set up of this automation is almost the same as the "Create a link", except:

  • The "Slug' and "Custom Domain" fields are be used to identify the link you want to update.

Example: If you want to update the link "https://hi.switchy.io/hello" you'll need to input "hi.switchy.io" in the "Custom Domain" field, and "hello" in the "Slug" field.

  • Link update will clear existing options. If a field is left empty, the parameter will be cleared.

Example: My link has some retargeting pixels added before the update. If I leave the "Pixel ID" field empty, my updated link won't have any pixel added.

You'll then have to fill different fields to set up the options of the link that will be automatically updated.
